No wall is visible on this section. What is visible is the core of the medieval wall where all facework has been lost. This area needs excavationg to expose the remants of the wall(s) that exist here in order to clarify conservation needs alongside the needs of the visitor to Butrint.

It is possible that the gabian idea will also have some traction in this area.
